Answers to common questions from clients and experts
For Clients
How does payment work? Payment is simple and secure, handled directly through the platform when you book.
Is my identity kept confidential? Yes. There's no messaging or contact info exchanged before booking, and experts don't see who you are until your session is confirmed.
How are experts vetted? Every expert is reviewed before their profile goes live, and verified experts are marked accordingly on their listing.
What if I need to cancel? You can cancel up to 48 hours before your session for a full refund. Cancellations inside that window, or no-shows, aren't refunded.
How does the session actually happen? After booking, you'll get details for a video call at the scheduled time — no extra app or account needed beyond ExecBridge.
Can I book more than one session? Yes — you can book as many sessions with as many experts as you'd like, whenever you need them.
For Experts
How do I get paid? You're paid securely through the platform based on the rate you set.
Do I need to use my real name? No. Many experts list under a professional alias (like a title or specialty) to keep their current employer or clients out of it. You choose what name and bio details to show publicly.
How much control do I have over my availability? You set your own calendar and pricing. You only get booked for times you've made available, and you can update it anytime.
What happens if I need to cancel a booked session? You can cancel from your dashboard. We'd ask you to give the client as much notice as possible, and repeated late cancellations may affect your listing visibility.
Will clients know who I currently work for? Not unless you choose to share that. Your "Companies Worked With" info stays private — it's used for verification only, never shown publicly.
How do I get verified? After you sign up and complete your profile, our team reviews your background and experience, then marks your listing as "Verified Expert" if it checks out.
Can I share confidential information from my past employers? No. You're expected to share your general expertise and experience only — not proprietary data, trade secrets, or confidential details from former or current employers. Sharing non-public company information is against our terms and can result in removal from the platform.
